Born in 75, my love affair with knife began as a little hobby while in junior high, my first real order came through at age of 20 and I still remember it was a modified belt-buckle knife. Later I met a ¡§real¡¨ knife-maker who showed me how to select appropriate material for making knife handles¡Kfrom modifying to design and making a complete knife took me more than 10 years of learning and still I am trying to self-improve all the time.

For the blade part, I use 440C mostly but I can also accept other steels on 2 conditions; Firstly I must be able to obtain the material easily and secondly it can be heat treated to certain standard.

HANDLE MATERIAL

In my work, the most complicated area being the handle because I accept most material; the most common material being sandal wood, deer horn; I spend awful lot of time searching for an appropriate material for a particular design, I often aim for the top quality but nowadays also planning to use popular material to make my work more affordable.

LEATHER

I use a lot of leather for sheath taking esthetic and style into consideration but by no mean limited to leather only. I sometimes also use KYDEX material for a change.
